Hello universe.
My name is John Wessling. I am a professional stand-up comedian, writer, radio host and stay-at-home dad. I live in Van Nuys CA with my wife Sara, our 7 month old daughter Kinison and our three cats; Barney, Oscar and Lucy.
I've tried to write blogs before but they never seem to last. Here's hoping this one is different. I am optimistic that this one will stick because now I have things in my life worth writing about.
I am 32 years old and I have been suffering from a torrendous case of writer's block for three years.
Seriously, it almost feels terminal. This drought of dramatic follow-through has beaten me up -- but not out.
I have plenty of ideas, its not that kind of block. When I get down to typing and fleshing out scripts/novels/jokes or whatever, I get disgusted and hate everything in about ten minutes and quit.
I'm trying to bust through that threshhold with this blog.
Maybe it will work. Maybe it won't.
